An important update about Marsh Pig

Marsh Pig has been part of The Norfolk Deli story for many years.

We first came to know the business when its charcuterie was being made in Norfolk, and it was precisely that combination of locally made produce, quality and provenance that made Marsh Pig a natural fit for The Norfolk Deli.

In 2026, following changes to the business, Marsh Pig moved production outside Norfolk.

That change matters to us.

The Norfolk Deli has always used Made in Norfolk to mean exactly that: a product which is actually made in Norfolk. It does not mean a product which was once made here, originated here, uses a Norfolk recipe or retains historical connections with the county.

For that reason, we no longer classify Marsh Pig as a Norfolk-made producer and its products are no longer included within our Made in Norfolk range.

We have retained this page because Marsh Pig formed part of Norfolk's food and drink story — and part of ours — for many years. The information below therefore reflects the business's history and our longstanding relationship with it, rather than its current place in Norfolk food production.
