Saltwrights Norfolk Sea Salt

Handcrafted sea salt from the Norfolk coast, sustainably made in small batches

Saltwrights is a Norfolk-based artisan sea salt producer crafting mineral-rich, authentic Norfolk sea salt on Salle Moor Hall Farm. Established in 2024 by Ben and Frances Jackson, Saltwrights was born from a simple but powerful idea: Norfolk, with one of the most beautiful coastlines in the UK, deserved its own sustainably produced sea salt.

Today, Saltwrights produces small-batch, pure Norfolk sea salt that captures the clean, briny character of the coast — bringing true local provenance to kitchens across the county and beyond.

About Saltwrights

Founded by Ben and Frances Jackson, Saltwrights began as a weekend project and quickly became a full-time business after they recognised a genuine gap in the market for locally produced sea salt.

With backgrounds in pubs and hospitality, and a shared passion for sourcing and championing local produce, they were astonished that Norfolk — surrounded by coastline — had no authentic sea salt of its own. That realisation became the catalyst for Saltwrights.

Each batch is sustainably produced with minimal environmental impact, allowing the natural minerals and coastal clarity to shine through. The result is a pure sea salt that reflects its environment — clean, crisp and full of character.
