Naturally smoked over wood chippings for a rich, authentic flavour

Northumberland Oak-Smoked is an award-winning cheese with a loyal following – and it’s easy to see why. Based on the Original Northumberland recipe, this cheese is cold-smoked for 12 hours over natural wood chippings, giving it a bronzed exterior and a deep, smoky character without a hint of artificial flavour.

After smoking, the cheese is matured for three months to intensify its richness and smooth texture. The result is a beautifully balanced, full-flavoured cheese with a natural smokiness that lingers on the palate. A true celebration of British cheesemaking, and a Silver winner at the 2019 International Cheese Awards.
