King Stone Dairy Rollright – A British Tribute to Vacherin Mont d’Or
Soft, spoonable, and gently washed with a delicate savoury depth
Rollright is a soft, washed rind cow’s milk cheese handmade by David Jowett at King Stone Dairy on Manor Farm in Gloucestershire. Inspired by France’s iconic Vacherin Mont d’Or, this British take is encircled in a spruce bark belt, which imparts subtle woody notes and helps the cheese ripen to a gloriously gooey centre.
Smooth, rich, and savoury with a delicate wash, Rollright is often compared to Reblochon and makes a brilliant alternative to classic French soft cheeses. Whether baked, spooned straight from the rind, or enjoyed at room temperature, it’s a luxurious addition to any cheeseboard.
.Please note all cheeses are hand-cut, therefore the weights listed are approximate. We work very hard to cut them as accurately as we can!
