Produced in the Île-de-France region using traditional methods and unpasteurised cow’s milk, this cheese represents Brie in its purest and most celebrated form.
Matured carefully to allow its bloomy rind to develop naturally, Brie de Meaux reveals a soft, supple interior that becomes increasingly creamy with age. The raw milk gives the cheese remarkable depth and complexity, expressing the full character of the pasture and the cheesemaker’s craft.
The flavour is rich, buttery, and savoury, with notes of mushrooms, fresh cream, and subtle nuttiness. As it matures, the texture becomes more yielding and the flavour more pronounced, delivering a beautifully balanced and deeply satisfying cheese.
