Black Shuck’s Golden Distale is a truly limited-edition spirit born out of ingenuity during the 2020 lockdown. When their friends at Moongazer Brewery were left with beer they couldn’t sell, Black Shuck stepped in and distilled it into the now-iconic White Distale.

But they didn’t stop there. A select amount of that spirit was barrel-aged, resulting in Golden Distale—a smooth, complex expression with natural colour and character drawn from the wood.

Only 120 bottles were produced, and just a handful of carefully chosen retailers were invited to stock it. A collector’s bottle and a story worth sharing.
