The Continental Cheesemonger’s Selection
A journey through Europe’s finest artisan cheeses
Explore the taste of Europe with The Continental Cheesemonger’s Selection, a carefully curated collection of award-winning continental cheeses chosen for their exceptional flavour, heritage, and craftsmanship. From creamy French classics to bold Alpine favourites and nutty Spanish traditions, this selection offers a true taste of the continent.
Perfect for entertaining, gifting, or simply indulging, each cheese has been handpicked by The Norfolk Deli to represent the very best of European cheesemaking — rich, varied, and utterly irresistible.
Inside this selection you’ll find:
-
Starnachas (approx. 250g) – A superb Swiss-style cheese aged to develop a nutty, savoury depth with subtle Alpine sweetness and a smooth, firm texture.
-
Grand Noir (approx. 250g) – A striking German blue cheese, encased in black wax with a luxuriously creamy texture and rich, mellow tang. A modern European masterpiece.
-
Drunk Monk (approx. 250g) – A robust, characterful washed-rind cheese bathed in brandy during maturation, giving it a deep aroma and a long, complex finish.
-
Pasteurised French Brie (approx. 250g) – Soft, bloomy, and buttery with gentle mushroom notes. A timeless French classic that defines continental indulgence.
-
Manchego (approx. 250g) – Spain’s most famous cheese, made from Manchega ewe’s milk. Firm, nutty, and delicately sweet with a satisfyingly crumbly texture.
-
Pack of artisan cheese crackers – Specially chosen to pair with both soft and hard continental cheeses.
-
Jar of The Garden Pantry chutney – Handmade in Norfolk, offering a perfect sweet and tangy balance to rich European flavours.
Freshness & storage
Most cheeses are hand-cut to order, and while every effort is made to be as accurate as possible, the quoted weights are approximate. Cheeses are cut on the day of dispatch or at most the day before, ensuring maximum freshness and quality.
Cut cheeses have a minimum shelf life of 10 days from the date of cutting.

Packaging
At The Norfolk Deli, our focus is on quality and care, not fancy packaging. We don’t use decorative wicker hampers for our cheeseboards — instead, your cheeses are packed in appropriately sized boxes with ice packs and insulation, ensuring they arrive in perfect, tip-top condition, ready to enjoy.
The price includes postage and packing, as well as a personalised handwritten message, making this the perfect ready-to-send gift for any cheese lover.
