Collection: Suffolk Cheeses

Suffolk has become one of the most exciting regions in Britain for artisan cheesemaking. Just across the border from Norfolk, the county is home to a small number of outstanding dairies producing cheeses that are now recognised across the UK and beyond.

This collection brings together the Suffolk cheeses available at The Norfolk Deli, made by three of the county’s most respected producers: Suffolk Farmhouse Cheese, Fen Farm Dairy, and Broughton Hall Farm.

At Suffolk Farmhouse Cheese, the team produces cheeses such as Suffolk Gold, Suffolk Blue, and Suffolk Blue Brie, all made using milk from their own herd and matured to develop rich flavour and creamy texture.

From Fen Farm Dairy comes the internationally celebrated Baron Bigod, one of the finest raw milk Brie-style cheeses made in the UK, alongside cheeses such as Truffler Baron and Raedwald.

Meanwhile Broughton Hall Farm produces distinctive cheeses including Pygthle and Nettus, showcasing the depth and diversity of modern British cheesemaking.

Together these dairies demonstrate why Suffolk has become such an important part of the East Anglian cheese landscape — producing cheeses that are full of character, rooted in their farms, and made with a deep respect for traditional methods.

Whether you're building a regional cheeseboard, discovering new British cheeses, or simply exploring the best of East Anglia, this collection celebrates the exceptional cheeses being made in Suffolk today.
