Black Shuck’s Lucy Lavers Dark Rum is a rich, characterful spirit infused with the smooth warmth of butterscotch, inspired by the enduring legacy of the Lucy Lavers lifeboat—a Dunkirk veteran now lovingly restored by the Rescue Wooden Boats charity.

Crafted in support of maritime heritage, this dark rum not only delivers a satisfyingly deep and mellow flavour, but also tells the story of one of Norfolk’s most treasured vessels.

The Lucy Lavers now resides in Wells-next-the-Sea, the port where she once served as the town’s relief lifeboat. From April to October, she sails again—offering trips, charters, and living history experiences for schools and the public alike.
