    Kern is the award-winning hard cheese from Lynher Dairies, the makers of Cornish Yarg. Aged for 16 months, this Gouda-style cheese is crafted with Alpine starter cultures, giving it a texture and complexity more often associated with Comté or Gruyère.

    Created by Catherine Mead and her team, Kern is smooth, dense, and savoury, with a nutty richness and long, satisfying finish. It’s a proud Cornish original that confidently holds its own among the world’s great mountain cheeses.
