Shine Pale Ale from Duration Brewing is the first in their single hop series, and it puts Simcoe front and centre in all its glory. This isn’t just a nod to the hop — it’s a full exploration of what it can do when handled with precision.
By combining liquid hop extract, Cryo hops and traditional T90 pellets, Duration have captured the full spectrum of Simcoe’s character. Expect layers of tropical fruit up front, followed by that signature sticky pine backbone and a lift of bright citrus that keeps everything fresh and focused.
The result is a pale ale with real clarity of flavour — bold but not brash, expressive without losing balance. It’s a beer that invites you to slow down slightly and actually notice what’s going on in the glass.
