Essence Botanicals is an independent Norfolk producer of small-batch conserves, jams and marmalades, creating beautifully balanced preserves using fruit alongside carefully chosen herbs, flowers and botanicals.

Our Essence Botanicals collection includes everything from traditional fruit conserves and Seville orange marmalades to more unusual combinations such as Strawberry & Elderflower, Blueberry & Norfolk Lavender, Raspberry & Mint, Apricot & Amaretto and Salted Seville Marmalade.

It's this combination of the familiar and the unexpected that makes Essence particularly interesting. Strawberry is lifted with fragrant elderflower, locally grown Norfolk lavender adds a delicate floral character to blueberry, while a touch of salt gives traditional Seville marmalade an intriguing contemporary twist.

Perfect for toast, scones and afternoon tea, these preserves also deserve a place on the cheeseboard, where their combination of fruit, acidity and botanical flavours works beautifully with artisan cheese.
