Essence Botanicals Strawberry & Rose Conserve takes the familiar sweetness of ripe strawberries and adds a delicate floral note from rose to create something rather more interesting than a traditional strawberry preserve.
Handmade in small batches in Norfolk, strawberry remains very much at the heart of the conserve. The rose isn't there to dominate or make things overly perfumed; instead, it provides a subtle aromatic lift that complements the natural sweetness and fruitiness of the strawberries.

Why we like it
There's absolutely nothing wrong with a traditional strawberry conserve, but this is exactly the sort of little twist that makes the Essence range interesting.
