Classic French Alpine Cheese for Tartiflette
Soft, creamy, and unmistakably Alpine
Reblochon cheese is a traditional French Alpine washed-rind cheese made from raw cow’s milk in the Savoie region of France. Protected by AOC status, it has been produced for centuries in the Thônes and Arly valleys of the Aravis massif, using time-honoured methods that reflect the rich pastures of the Alps.
Soft and supple with a pale, creamy interior, Reblochon au Lait Cru is characterised by its lightly sticky washed rind and gentle aromatic character. The flavour is nutty, slightly tangy, and delicately earthy, with grassy notes that come from Alpine grazing. Despite its washed rind, Reblochon remains approachable and balanced rather than overpowering.
Best known as the essential ingredient in Tartiflette, Reblochon melts beautifully, becoming rich and indulgent when baked. It’s equally enjoyable served at room temperature as part of a French cheeseboard, where its creamy texture and savoury depth really shine.
