Three European cheeses. Two people. One very good excuse to stay in.

Some evenings don't need much planning. Just good company, a decent bottle of something and a cheeseboard worth sitting down for.

Two's Company – Continental Cheese for Two brings together three classic European cheeses from France, Spain and Italy, selected by our cheesemongers to create a beautifully balanced cheeseboard for sharing.

The idea is simple. One soft French cheese, one mature Spanish cheese and one creamy Italian blue. Three different styles, three distinctive characters and approximately 750g of proper continental cheese.

We've added a box of artisan crackers and a jar of Norfolk-made chutney, so everything you need for a rather good cheeseboard is already taken care of.

And because we're cheesemongers, not simply hamper packers, we've selected cheeses that work together, offering a balance of flavours, textures and styles.

The cheeses

French Brie (approx. 250g)

Made in France.

A classic pasteurised French Brie with a soft, bloomy rind and a rich, buttery interior.

Creamy and mellow, with gentle mushroomy notes, this is one of the great traditional styles of French cheesemaking.

An approachable favourite that provides a lovely contrast to the firmer and more assertive cheeses in the collection.

Manchego (approx. 250g)

Made in Spain using milk from Manchega sheep.

One of Spain's most celebrated cheeses, Manchego has a firm texture and a distinctive nutty flavour, balanced by gentle sweetness and a satisfying savoury finish.

A wonderful example of the character that ewe's milk brings to traditional cheesemaking.

Gorgonzola Dolce (approx. 250g)

Made in Italy.

One of Italy's most famous cheeses, Gorgonzola Dolce is a wonderfully rich, soft blue with a creamy, almost spoonable texture.

Its gentle sweetness and delicate blue character create a beautifully balanced flavour, making it particularly good spread onto crackers or enjoyed with a little fruit preserve.

A fitting finish to this continental cheeseboard.

Three excellent European cheeses deserve a couple of equally good accompaniments.

Freshly cut by our cheesemongers

There's an important difference between buying a box of cheese and buying cheese from a proper cheesemonger.

At The Norfolk Deli, most of our cheeses are cut by hand specifically for your order, either on the day of dispatch or the day before.

We don't simply take a selection of pre-packed cheeses off a shelf and put them into a box.

Your cheeses are selected, cut and packed by people who work with artisan cheese every day.

All quoted weights are approximate, reflecting the nature of hand-cut cheese.

Cut cheeses will have a minimum shelf life of 10 days from cutting.

Packaging, delivery and gifting

We believe the cheese should be the impressive part, not the packaging.

You won't find unnecessary wicker baskets or elaborate presentation materials here.

Instead, your cheeses are carefully packed in an appropriately sized box, using insulation and ice packs to help protect them during their journey.

It's a practical approach that puts the quality and condition of the cheese first.

The price includes postage and packing, and you can add a personalised handwritten gift message at no additional charge.
