The English Gently Smoked Double Cask is a masterclass in cask marrying — a limited-edition single malt created from the perfect union of whisky matured in American Bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. As part of the distillery’s celebrated Small Batch range, this release showcases the skill, patience and instinct of The English Whisky Company’s team. Taking cask samples, assessing their character, and marrying them until they complement each other flawlessly is an art — and this batch, limited to just 2,100 bottles, proves exactly why their expertise is recognised worldwide.
