The 2025 Small Batch Release of Gently Smoked Sherry Hogshead is a whisky destined to become a favourite among fans of sherry cask maturation. Limited to just 1,380 bottles, this expression brings together the indulgent sweetness of sherry hogsheads with a softer, more nuanced level of smoke than The English Whisky Company’s traditional peated releases.

Crafted at St George’s Distillery, where every batch is intentionally small to preserve absolute quality, this release goes even further — showcasing the distillery team’s mastery in drawing out depth, balance and complexity from their exceptional cask stocks. Each Small Batch bottling is truly unique, never to be repeated. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
