At 4.2% ABV, this is a stout built around flavour rather than strength. The nitro character gives it that unmistakably smooth, creamy mouthfeel, while roasted malt brings depth and gentle bitterness alongside rich cocoa and coffee notes.

What does Corkonian Nitro Stout taste like?
Expect a smooth, dark and roasty stout with flavours of coffee, cocoa and dark chocolate wrapped in a soft, creamy texture.
There's plenty of roasted malt character, but this isn't a stout that overwhelms the palate. Instead, everything is nicely balanced, with the darker flavours giving way to a soft, easy finish that makes another sip particularly tempting.
What to drink it with
The combination of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate makes Corkonian a natural partner for richer, deeper flavours. Try it with:
- Mature Cheddar and other strong cheeses
- Blue cheese
- Beef and rich meat dishes
- Sausages and grilled meats
- Chocolate desserts
- Sticky toffee pudding

Why we like it
There's something particularly satisfying about a really good stout. It doesn't need to be excessively strong or overloaded with additional flavours – sometimes roast, chocolate, coffee and a beautifully smooth texture are more than enough.
That's where Corkonian gets it right. At 4.2%, it's full of character without being heavy, with the nitro giving it that wonderfully soft, silky texture. Dark, smooth and immensely drinkable – exactly what we want from a stout.
