Made with 57.75% mushrooms, this award-winning pâté puts their earthy flavour firmly at the centre. Butter provides richness, while coriander brings a fresh, aromatic lift and a small amount of chilli adds gentle warmth rather than overwhelming heat.
It is a vegetarian pâté with enough character and complexity to stand confidently alongside more traditional meat-based pâtés and rillettes.
What does Mushroom Pâté with Chilli & Coriander taste like?
Expect a rich, buttery and deeply savoury mushroom flavour, lifted by the freshness of coriander and followed by a subtle warmth from the chilli.
Onion and garlic add further savoury depth, while the butter gives the pâté its richness and rounded texture. With chilli making up just 0.06% of the recipe, this is about warmth and complexity rather than creating something overtly hot.

Rather than attempting to imitate a traditional meat pâté, it allows the natural savoury character of mushrooms to provide the foundation for a pâté in its own right.
