The Cheesemonger’s Notes
Luxuriously creamy farmhouse blue cheese with exceptional richness and balance
Isle of Wight Blue is a remarkable artisan blue cheese made by the Stone family at the Isle of Wight Cheese Company. Produced using milk from their own herd of Guernsey cows, this cheese reflects both the richness of the milk and the careful craft of farmhouse cheesemaking.
Guernsey milk is naturally higher in butterfat than standard cow’s milk, giving Isle of Wight Blue its signature golden hue and exceptionally creamy texture. The cheese is matured carefully to allow delicate blue veining to develop throughout the soft, dense paste.
The flavour is rich, creamy, and beautifully balanced, with gentle blue spice complemented by a natural sweetness from the Guernsey milk. Despite its depth, it remains refined and approachable, offering both indulgence and elegance.
This is a modern British blue cheese that combines farmhouse provenance with exceptional eating quality.

Why We Stock It
Isle of Wight Blue represents the best of modern farmhouse cheesemaking. The use of milk from the farm’s own Guernsey herd gives the cheese a richness and depth that cannot be replicated in larger-scale production.
At The Norfolk Deli, we select cheeses that demonstrate genuine provenance and craft. Isle of Wight Blue delivers both — a cheese that reflects its landscape, its animals, and the skill of the people who make it.
