Why It’s On Our Shelves
Tomato ketchup might be one of Britain’s most familiar condiments, but familiar doesn’t have to mean ordinary.
Candi’s Classic Tomato Ketchup takes an everyday favourite and gives it the small-batch treatment. Rich tomato flavour is balanced with sweetness, gentle acidity and carefully chosen spices to create a ketchup with considerably more character than the average supermarket bottle.
Made in Norfolk by chef-turned-producer Candice Robertson, it is exactly what we want from an artisan condiment: recognisable enough to become an everyday staple, but sufficiently good that you'll notice the difference.
What does Candi’s Tomato Ketchup taste like?
Expect a rich, tomato-led flavour with a balance of sweetness, tangy acidity and gentle spice.
It has all the familiarity you expect from a classic tomato ketchup, but with greater depth of flavour — designed to complement your food rather than simply cover it.

Rather than treating ketchup as simply another mass-produced cupboard staple, Candi’s approaches it as a food product in its own right — something where the tomatoes, seasoning, sweetness and acidity should work together.
The result is an artisan Norfolk tomato ketchup that can replace the familiar supermarket bottle while bringing considerably more character to the plate.

Candi’s Cupboard was founded in Norfolk in 2012 by professional chef Candice Robertson. Her range of chutneys, sauces and condiments draws on decades of kitchen experience, with an emphasis on bold flavours, British produce and small-batch production.
