Coffee with your biscotti? Or coffee in your biscotti? With Bon Bakery's Coffee & Hazelnut Biscotti, there's really no need to choose.
Handmade in Norfolk, these twice-baked biscotti combine the rich, aromatic flavour of coffee with the satisfying crunch and natural nuttiness of roasted hazelnuts. It's a combination that feels as though it was always destined to end up alongside a freshly made cup of coffee.
Made without eggs, milk or butter, they offer Bon Bakery's distinctive Moroccan-influenced take on the traditional Italian-style biscotti – crisp, full of flavour and not overly sweet.
And yes, you can dunk a coffee biscotti into your coffee. In fact, we'd positively encourage it.
How to Enjoy Them
Particularly good:
- Dunked into espresso or strong black coffee
- Alongside a cappuccino, flat white or latte
- With hot chocolate
- As an afternoon pick-me-up
- Crumbled over vanilla, chocolate or coffee ice cream
Why We Like Them
Coffee and roasted hazelnuts simply belong together.
Add the characteristic crunch of a twice-baked biscotti and you have a biscuit that's rich and nutty without being overly sweet – and one that's particularly difficult to resist when there's a fresh pot of coffee nearby.
Handmade here in Norfolk and blessed with a good shelf life. Although we're beginning to think Bon Bakery mentioning shelf life is rather optimistic.
