B.O.B – or Bitter Old Bustard – is a russet-coloured ale with a smooth malt body and warm nutty biscuit flavours. Brewed with three of England’s finest hop varieties, this 4.3% ABV beer delivers a beautifully balanced bitterness and a satisfyingly rich finish.
Named after the majestic Great Bustard, once a common sight soaring over East Anglia’s farmland, this ale honours a rare bird with a remarkable story. Hunted to extinction in the 1830s, the Great Bustard is now making a slow but steady return—just like traditional, characterful ales that deserve to be savoured.
