Why It’s On Our Shelves
White Grape | Citrus | Light
A light and easy-drinking gluten-free session pale, hopped with Comet, Nelson Sauvin and Styrian Dragon for bright white grape and citrus character.
Ampersand Take Two is a 4.3% gluten-free Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with Thirst Drinks Syndicate to celebrate their second birthday.
Designed firmly with drinkability in mind, Take Two brings together Comet, Nelson Sauvin and Styrian Dragon hops, creating a fresh, aromatic pale ale with distinctive notes of white grape and bright citrus fruit.
At 4.3% ABV, it's light enough to be genuinely sessionable while still delivering plenty of hop character – exactly the sort of beer you want when refreshment matters just as much as flavour.
What does Take Two taste like?
Expect a light, fresh and citrus-led pale ale, with the hops bringing plenty of fruit without excessive bitterness.
Nelson Sauvin is particularly well known for its distinctive white grape character, which comes through alongside brighter citrus notes from the combination of Comet and Styrian Dragon.
The result is clean, fruity and refreshing, with enough hop character to keep things interesting while remaining wonderfully easy to drink.
How to enjoy it
Serve well chilled. The fresh citrus and white grape character makes Take Two particularly versatile with food. Try it with:

- Barbecued chicken

- Spicy dishes
- Tacos

Why we like it
There's sometimes a temptation with modern pale ales to keep adding more – more hops, more alcohol, more intensity.
Take Two goes in the opposite direction.
At 4.3%, it's designed to be light, refreshing and genuinely sessionable, while that combination of Comet, Nelson Sauvin and Styrian Dragon ensures there's still plenty happening in the glass.
We particularly like the white grape character coming from the hops. It gives the beer something distinctive without sacrificing the easy-drinking quality that a good session pale needs.
Light, fruity, refreshing and gluten-free – a celebratory beer that doesn't need a special occasion to open one.
