The Norfolk Larder

The Norfolk Larder is a small, independent Norfolk food producer creating traditional jams, chutneys, preserves and baked goods with a strong focus on homemade quality and familiar flavours done well. Regularly found at local markets and community events across the county, The Norfolk Larder champions simple, honest food made in small batches.

Rooted in Norfolk and inspired by classic kitchen-table recipes, their range is all about comfort, generosity and flavour — the sort of food that belongs in the cupboard, on the breakfast table, or at the heart of a thoughtful local gift.

Why We Stock Them

The Norfolk Larder embodies exactly what we look for in a Producer Hub supplier: local, small-scale, and proudly homemade. Their preserves and chutneys aren’t designed to shout — they’re designed to belong.

They sit perfectly alongside artisan cheeses, breads and Norfolk pantry staples, offering balance, familiarity and real versatility. These are products that elevate everyday eating and quietly shine in hampers without stealing the spotlight.

Meet the Maker

The Norfolk Larder is run by Millie, a Norfolk-based maker whose passion for food began long before it became a business.

Alongside her work in the NHS, Millie has always loved making her own jams and chutneys — using locally grown produce and classic, well-balanced recipes. Like many great small producers, it started at the kitchen table: jars made for family and friends, gifted generously, and met with the same response time and again — “You should be selling this.”

Encouraged by those around her, Millie decided to take the leap and began producing a wider range of preserves, testing them at local farmers’ markets to see how they were received. The response was immediate and reassuring: people came back for more.

It felt like a natural next step when Millie’s products began featuring in the farm shop at Wilton Farm, run by her sister Becky Enefer, maker of Norfolk White Lady cheese. The connection between the two reflects a shared ethos — small-scale production, local ingredients, and food made with care rather than compromise.

Today, The Norfolk Larder is a brilliant example of a modern Norfolk producer: rooted in the county, built slowly and honestly, and focused on making food that people genuinely want to eat, share and return to.
