Christmas Ordering, Deliveries & Opening Hours
We're looking forward to helping make your Christmas delicious. This year, we're also taking a little time away with family, so please take a moment to check our Christmas ordering dates.
Monday morning
Please place your Christmas orders by the morning of Monday 21 December. Ordering earlier is strongly recommended, particularly for cheese and fresh food.
Monday
Orders placed after our Christmas deadline may not be dispatched until Monday 11 January, when we plan to resume sending online orders.
Our shop closes on Christmas Eve
The Norfolk Deli in Hunstanton will close after trading on Thursday 24 December 2026. We will not be open for shopping between Christmas and New Year, and there will be no online order dispatches during our Christmas break.
Please make sure you've collected everything you need for your festive cheeseboard, Christmas table and New Year celebrations before we close.
A Christmas that's a little different for us.
As many of you know, The Norfolk Deli is very much a family business.
This Christmas, one of our daughters is expecting a baby, and we've decided to spend some time nearby so that we can share in what promises to be a very special family occasion.
It means we'll be taking a longer break than usual, something we don't often get the opportunity to do.
We hope you'll understand, and we wanted to give everyone plenty of notice so nobody misses out on their favourite Christmas cheeses, hampers or treats.

Christmas Ordering FAQs
When is the last date to order for Christmas?
Please place your order by the morning of Monday 21 December 2026. We recommend ordering earlier wherever possible. Christmas delivery remains subject to courier services and any disruption outside our control.
Can I choose a delivery date?
Where available, you can select your preferred delivery date when ordering. Please allow for the increased demands on courier services at Christmas. Preferred dates are not an unconditional guarantee of delivery on that day.
Will the shop be open between Christmas and New Year?
No. Our Hunstanton shop will close after trading on Christmas Eve, Thursday 24 December, and remain closed throughout the Christmas and New Year break.
What happens if I order after 21 December?
Orders placed after our Christmas ordering deadline may not be dispatched until Monday 11 January 2027.
Will you dispatch online orders during the closure?
No. We will not be packing or dispatching online orders during our Christmas break. Dispatch is planned to resume on Monday 11 January 2027.
What about cheese for New Year's Eve?
Please purchase or arrange delivery of your New Year cheeses before our Christmas closure. The shop will not be open between Christmas and New Year, and we will not dispatch cheese during that period.
