This organic wheel of "drunken" cheese is drenched in wine and buried in Cabernet and Merlot marc, giving it a unique flavour. The process is steeped in tradition, dating back to when cheeses had to be hidden from looting soldiers and pilfering tax collectors.

This is a hand-made, artisan cheese, which may contain naturally occurring blue veins. These are normal and intrinsic to the nature of this type of cheese and add to its character. We think they taste good too!
