A Soft, Delicate Pinot Noir with Red Berry Notes & Oak Maturity
Chalk Bed Reserve is an elegant Pinot Noir crafted from carefully selected, hand-picked grapes grown on low-yielding vines rooted in Norfolk’s chalk-rich soils. The grapes are fully ripened and fermented on their skins for two weeks, allowing for optimal colour and flavour extraction before undergoing gentle pressing and oak barrel ageing.
The resulting wine is soft, refined, and beautifully structured, with aromas of strawberries and redcurrant, and a palate that’s light yet satisfying, leading to a long, harmonious finish. The subtle oak ageing adds roundness and finesse without overpowering the fruit.
At 12.5% ABV, this is a graceful red wine that pairs perfectly with sea trout, roast turkey, or herb-crusted lamb.
