This is a decadent triple cream cheese made by Fromagerie Lincet in the Burgundy region of France. Rich and full -flavoured with a smooth, velvety, melt-in-the-mouth texture. DELICE DE BOURGOGNE is made by adding creme fraiche to full-fat cow's milk. It has a white bloomy rind which has a mushroomy smell that contrasts nicely with the buttery and tangy notes of the cheese.
DELICE DE BOURGOGNE is similar to other classic French cheeses such as Brillat Savarin or Explorateur. Or you can even compare this to a St Jude or Bix. It is also similar to the classic Brie in appearance, but this is where the similarities end, this sumptuous cheese delivers an extra triple cream punch to the palate. This cheese is best enjoyed when it is running off your plate.
Please note all cheeses are hand-cut, therefore the weights listed are approximate. We work very hard to cut them as accurately as we can!
